Hey yall. Quick question. What is going on when dave is singing the second verse, on the second one drink to remember. After he singing "how could i have dreamed to find a love like you again.

He just picks around this first chord, hitting the bass note and strumming, through the whole lyric (about 3 times), until “forget”, when he switches to the second chord, then into the chorus. use the 3rd finger for the mute on E string.
I can't believe that we would lie in our graves wondering if we had spent our living days well, and I can't believe that we would lie in our graves dreaming of things that we might have been...

I thought the first chord was this:

E:--
B:--3--
G:-----
D:--2--
A:--3--
E:-----

I think you are probably right, i watched a video of it and i realized i messed up, sorry DMB23. i didnt have a guitar in my hands when i wrote it.
