I'm trying to convert parts of the huge .asf file into songs in .avi format but apparently the program I'm using can't take anything over a couple minutes long. Unless somebody can recommend a better free file-splitting/converting program, I won't be able to upload any of this...

like how do you watch it? You just right click the file > Stop, then just open the file if you can. The Mile High set I downloaded was an .asf file so I was able to open it in VLC, but it also works for Windows Media Player.

It didnt make a file anywhere, I have the destination set to desktop, but it didnt put anything there. The milehigh.asf is still listed in UnFinished in the hidownload menu though. It still says Size 0bytes so something went wrong..

yeah if it's 0 bytes then for some reason it didn't download, so there's nothing you can do.

Wow, this is way too much trouble trying to convert this file and split the clips etc., I didn't think it would be this ridiculous.

That was an amazing day. It was hovering around 100 degrees during the day which made it just about miserable sitting in one spot at the main stage all day. Brett Dennen...fun for a little but kind of got annoying after a while. Then came One Republic which put on a good show. After that...got dragged to Colbie Calet by the gf, but that wasnt really that bad and she is kinda hot. Saw Rod y Gab which was really really fun...for a little. After a half hour it got to be too much. After that, it became crunch time trying to hold our spot. Mayer came out and rocked...and rolled. He was having troubles with the altitude trying to sing and I dont think his IEM were working very well so he couldnt really hear himself (that is what he told us), but his guitar was.....well I mean fuck...its not fair how good he is. He came on early cause he wanted to play more, but when he realized he still had about an hour after his regular set, he came out for an extended encore which was fun and closed it all off with Panama and David Ryan Harris crowd surfed. Then the Band came out. I know you guys saw a webcast or something like that, but it was amazing. After being in the heat all day and finally having them come (plus havent seen them in a couple of years), I really enjoyed their set. Ya proudest monkey was a bit of a mood killer, but half way through the song and I just kinda sat back and enjoyed it. Jeff Coffin is amazing, and I really enjoyed Tim and he didnt take over songs as much as I thought he was. I cant wait to see them again.
