Wait a few years when you're better and want a nice guitar.

Its a fine beginners guitar. But its not something you're going to want to play all your life. Its not full sized, probably laminate, I paid $1,200.00 for my Taylor and its a lower end model and there are much more expensive ones, by a long shot. It'll be fine for you for now, but if you progress and keep playing you're going to want a better one in the future.

From what I understand, it's slightly smaller than a full-sized guitar. Like Jayme said, absolutely fine to learn on, but you won't wanna be playing it forever.

A Taylor Big Baby is 15/16 the size of a normal guitar. The back and sides arent made out of solid wood, its a laminate. A regular size guitar, made of all solid wood would almost always be louder and sound better then your guitar.

A lot of things go into making a guitar good, such as the wood its made out of and the way its constructed. There are also different body types, I believe a Big Baby is a dreadnought. Anyway, what you have is a beginners guitar, as stated its fine to learn on but its not something a serious musician would play, but thats ok, you're not there yet.

basically your guitar is perfect for you... and you cant do much better in quality without spending another grand on top of what you spent... that said... i play a 400 Seagull and I find it sound better than quite a few of the lower end taylor's ive played... but hey its preference which is why everyone told you to go to a store and hear them all... if you like the sound... and your playing for yourself .. then there isnt a better guitar in the world...

Agreed. I would have suggested an Alvarez or maybe a Seagull because I'm pretty sure you could find one made of solid wood for around that price and full sized, but if you like it then its good for you.

No one ever said some guitars are for kids/beginners or men/experts.
