my summer project (a song)

Unread post by dmbguitar718 » Sun Jul 13, 2008 10:06 pm

since last winter, i've been doing a project for each season. i've tried to examine the season itself, as well as what it has brought me over the months. it's just a little continuous creative exercise to keep me active. although this season i just wrote a song, i try to explore other creative abilities i (or others) may have as well. for spring, i wrote a tiny song, did a piece of writing, and had two people (my sister and a friend) create two piece of visual art. that was fun.

anyway, this is my summer project. it's not much, as it's simply a four minute song, but there is a lot of thought packed into it (even though it may not seem so).

goddamn how do you mix so well? What program do you use? This is really clean and clear. I'm still on the quest since you requested better guitar tracks for my songs to find the right mix.

Anyway this is added to my iTunes. More excellent creativity. It's always enjoyable.

That is pretty sweet man. I don't know any better way to compliment it other than saying I wouldn't hesitate to pay for an album of yours.

thank you very much guys. i really appreciate your compliments. as for an album - hold your horses until the winter. i'm not rushing anything, and i want my "entrance" into the professional world to be as strong as possible. i'm really excited for the whole project though.

I should have phrased that a little differently. I wouldn't hesitate to buy your album if I had the money is better, so take your time.

i like it. do you spend a lot of time star gazing in the summer? because that was just twinkling, lol.
