So Damn Lucky?
Hey guys,
I've been trying to learn how to play So Damn Lucky, but have had trouble in the past. Here is a link to a short video of me playing the verse.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZjhDvNvag4
I was wondering if you guys could help out. I feel like I'm playing it right but somethings is telling me its not right. Could any of you watch it and let me know if it sounds right?
My guitar playing isn't that great cause I have haven't been playing all that long. I'm not going for the quality yet. I'm just curious if I'm even playing it right not. If it doesn't sound right what am I doing wrong? I would love to finally finish learning this song so hopefully it is ok. Thanks in advanced guys.

Re: So Damn Lucky?
You're just hammering-on WAY too many times, especially on the first chord.
He plays the first chord for two measures of 4 and the second for two measures of 4.
For this first chord there are three hammer-ons per every 4 beats and the second has 4 hammer-ons for each 4 beats.
On the first chord, strum and hammer-on, but sort of "hold" it there without frantically hammering on again. I can try to do some audio later.

Re: So Damn Lucky?
I actually just did this a few days ago for someone else, hopefully it helps.

I started out real slow and brought it up to full speed towards the end. I only threw in the double hammer ons towards the end.

Re: So Damn Lucky?
play octaves starting on G (tenth fret g string) and walk down all the way to the E. the E isn't an octave though, that's when you go back to the verse part
