I know we already have a discussion on pics, but I had so start a new one! I've been using Fender mediums since I have been playing guitar, about 10 years now. Today I got some .60 Jim Dunlops and I love them!
I've played three songs and I am sold. They have raised edges, so you won't drop them anymore.
They are definately more flexible than your standard fenders, but its easier to play with them. (although I still manage to hit the wrong strings while playing The Stone!)
Just wanted to let you all know that I have officilly switched from Fenders to Dunlops!

yay. dunlops rule the world. i personally us the .46mm myself. although when i first started w/ the dunlops i used the .60 and i still do if thats all thats around and i dont mind it at all.

Dunlop .60's are definitely my favorites. I have a really good friend who plays the guitar very well, and her favorite picks are these really fat graphite picks. I'd be curious to get a hold of one of those, but until then, it's dunlop .60's all the way.

yep, my favorite as well. i use the oranges for some songs like ants marching and sometimes halloween, but the reds are by far my favorite weapon of choice.

you can get them in whatever color you want; i've got a bag of random-colored 0.50 mm tortex's coming in on wednesday

at my guitar store they have the different colors in different bins and supposedly theyre different thicknesses

i guess my guitar store is just stupid :roll:

no, because thats the way mine are too. the different colors correspond to the different thicknesses. apparently you can special order colors online though too.

sure, i dunno, he was the one that originally talked about getting mixed colored dunlop's ordered. i have no knowledge of dunlop's past my guitar store.
