it's Travis picking.... use the index and thumb of course. Get used to the pattern b4 using any more fingers... but that's just how I learned... great song though! Start off slow, get used to the fingerpicking style.... most importantly have fun

Me personally am a fan of rolling my index and middle finger to play it. I may make it harder that way, but that was the way I learned it. And yes, you have to be sure that you are comfortable with the song, and start off slow to get it. Great finger picking song!

Yeah, I wouldn't recomend that anyone play like me, hehehe. I like to complicate things when I shouldn't, hehe, like this song! ;-)

your thumb should alternate on the top two strings you are playing index and middle take care of the bottom two. Pluck the strings together with your thumb and middle. Then use your thumb on the D string, index on the G string, thumb on the A string, then middle on the B string and repeat, its the easiest way. This may sound complicating so IM me if you have any questions.

yeah thats how i do it too. its best to learn the pattern before trying to fit it into the song. once you get that down then add the chords. thats how i did it anyway.

awsome tips, thanks lads.. i got the fingerpicking style or travis picking down pretty well.. the hard thing is getting the chord transferring down.. close to the end is tough.. the tab that i use is tricky that way.. i've seen all sorts of version of the song, but i like the one i have..
