Couple questions;

Do you like where Daves (and the bands) music is going?

What is your fav. post busted stuff song, to listen or play?

One more quick one, on the NYC DVD,is the song Help Myself, and orginal or a cover?

I love that song, is it tabbed out yet?

i like where dave and the band are going, everyday wasn't a huge sucess IMO but cetainly not a failure, and busted stuff was awesome, and their past summer tour was one of their best. the band is suppost be be going back to the BTCS style for their new album, and i really liked the Some Devil album.

best post BS song is probobly....well it has to be a SD song then, so probobly Stay or Leave, Maybe Some devil, that whole CD is awesome.

Help Myself is a Dave original. its a very old one, i have some versions i think from back in '93.

and yes, there is a tab for it on this site, just check out the home page

Yep, Help Myself (also been known as dangerous hours) was written in the early days, and has been played on and off since '93. It was recroded during the BTCS sessions, and instead of putting Halloween on the Scream 2 soundtrack, they put Help Myself on it, because Lillywhite really liked Halloween and wanted it on the album.

I think that's pretty much it.

Oh, it's on dmbtabs, it's under B-Sides.

I think BTCS was their best, and their masterpeice. I do love Some Devil, and my favorite post BS song would have to be the song Some Devil. Just a stripped down folk like song with a lot of emotion in the singing.

I also think that their new album will be very different (going where they never have been), and I expect to be very good.

Dude, seriously, not to sound cliche, but Crash is their best album. Just think about it. Its the essence of DMBs true self. BUt anyway, SMTS 2step, 41, Say goodbye, LIOG, TB, Let you down, DIDO, the list goes on my brotha.

I'm basing this on nothing, but I thought I remembered hearing that it was because they didn't have a good recording of Halloween, and Help Myself was recorded with the Crash album. This might be true since BTCS came out like 5 months after the Scream 2 soundtrack. But I'm probably wrong.

see, its hard to explain, crash might have the best songs on it, but its just something about how BTCS flows that i think make it their best album.

I'm pretty sure Ranting is right.. though BTCS may have come out after Scream 2, they usually record prior to the release date(duh) and i believe step into the light(the book) says that help myself was recorded during BTCS sessions..

I would probably agree with yall there too, but Dave himself has said many times in interviews that BTCS was their best album as far as, well, everything goes.

Crash was their best rock album, but BTCS was just a masterpiece of music. All the insturments, guests, selection of songs, emotion, power, meanings, and the over all huge feel from one song to the next.

But, for rock, Crash. Crash is also the best widely accepted album, BTCS has a non mainstream feel to everything, Crash is original and pure dmb with a modern mainstream music taste to please all audiences.

I just think, if I could only have one album it would definitely be Crash, that's why it's their best album. Also, what songs would you want to hear live? probably the ones on crash, which is another reason why it is their best album.

UTTAD is better than crash IMO. BTCS is the best, however

No. And someone said it earlier, and I agree with them. Crash may have their best songs on it, but the performances on the album aren't up to 'snuff'. As an album, BTCS blows it away because it flows better, and it's just more of a masterpiece. Crash is more of a bunch of songs thrown together, they don't flow as well as BTCS. Don't get me wrong, Crash is a great album, but the versions of the songs on there just don't do anything for me. And BTCS wins my vote as best album.
