Butch leaving could make the band's sound suffer, but with Tim on board for the whole summer hopefully a new sound will emerge. I think there is room for a lot of potential without butch.

Maybe I just dont realize Im hearing him, but I didnt think I'd really notice his absence.

That's just it, he did things that you don't notice until they're gone. If you listen to the entire everyday album and try to hear the piano and keyboard parts, you'll realize that it's about half of the rhythm section for that album. Without him it's going to sound really empty and terrible. Even a lot of BTCS had keyboard parts that will be missed.

I was speaking more about when playing live but Im sure it will take away from both.

And Dale, I highly doubt it gets mentioned opening night but you never know. Im wondering if the reasoning will ever actually be told to fans.

Their sound is going to lack depth, but you would think they would find a replacement? Hopefully Tim Reynolds is there for the entire tour to help fill...
