So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Mikey, the DM3MD is a combination of Dave's favorite features of the HD-35 and the HD-28(V), with a few twists of his own.
It does so list the number.. check the pictures.. it's #21
You're right, but I expected it to be in the text, as it is in every other DM3MD auction around...
which one is it closer to though. i mean, if i were to go to a guitar shop and try to play something as close to a DM3MD as i could, would it be the 28V or the 35?
I think the HD-28V is the most beautiful Martin - it's just gorgeous in looks and in tone. So I guess I'm biased towards that one

Go check one out if you've never played it.

I wish my guitar center had a HD-28V, I really want to play one! I have to agree, if I had the money, not enough to buy a DM3MD, I would buy a HD-28V. But it's not like it's that much cheaper,

$2000 at the most? Hehehe

One of the mods should stick a DM3MD thread , because lately there has been quite a few topics regarding sales on Ebay

I wasn't planning on getting both, I got the taylor and then saw on the martin on ebayand got a great deal on it, before i knew it and $6000 later on a cc, i owned both awsome guitars. I paid it offwhen I refinanced my condo, I love them both so much....
