So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Like what... i'm kinda curious on this. I usually understand most of them. Not saying that you can't figure it out or nothing, just saying it's probably something I missed.

well of course i have my own ideas

i was just wondering if there was an "official" meaning for them somewhere.
here are some that are giving me trouble though
the stone- he did SOMETHING and now he feels really guilty about it.
some devil- his "girlfriend" died and he wished it was him?
spoon- something about Jesus?
grey street- a 'hate' song instead of a love song dedicated to his ex girlfriend?
my mind went blank, i'll think of more later.

A very complete song tour. I dont know that all of their interpretations are right, but they give you something to think about. Click on a song's name on the list to get stats, lyrics, and an interpretation. Not to mention a list of every show the song has been played at.
As much as I dislike their forum administrators, ants has the best fansite for any band I've ever seen. Spend some time looking around there, if you havent.

dave says that a lot, sure he has his own personal meanings, but he encourages people to develop their own meanings, i know i've got a bunch, like dreaming tree, reminds me of new york city cause that was the first place i heard it, along with the whole "before these crowded streets" thing - i love that line

those sites are great! Also, I have visited the board at nancies.org and seen song meanings on there, too.
