If I had it all

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

If I had it all

thanks alot for putting if I had it all up, all the tabs that have floated around have been way off on it, mostly on the breakdown part. But I think you are a little off on the chorus. I was watching the DVD and it looked like the chorus was more like this

C -> Em -> A -> Am

then

C -> Em -> D (strum D till end of chorus)

please double check me, but I'm pretty sure this is the right way to play it

I just listened to it carefully and I'm pretty positive that Jkanter has it right. I don't hear that A chord. Its definately A minor to C.

peace,
Ken

I just took a look at the DVD again, the first time they play the chorus, right after he playes the Em, you can see the A chord, then him switch to the Am. You are right that it is Am to C, but he plays the A chord between the Em and the Am

later,
Joe

chorus = C - Em - A - Am - C - Em - D - D I'll vouch for this.

no problem, it just sounded too strange the way the tab was written up originally

I too think that there is an A chord rather than D chord. for the first time C-->Em-->A-->Am
then second
C-->Em-->D-->D

But hell, it sounds good both ways, but i like it better with the A chord.

:D
Yes, I am Indian and I play the guitar. Believe It.
