Grace is Gone Chorus help

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Grace is Gone Chorus help

Unread post by geo3217 » Thu Feb 21, 2008 1:01 am

I can't seem to get the chorus to Grace is Gone right. I always seem to end up strumming it all, even though it sounds like he's throwing some fingerpicking in there. Can anyone give me some tips? Even better would be a video of your right hand on the chorus. Thanks!

don't pluck the high e string in the entire song. I think the b string is plucked the entire time with combination of the other strings (the combo is in the begining of each measure) during the chorus. dont get discouraged, its a difficult song.

make it up. give each chord a strum, then pick some notes in a rhythmic manner. it'll sound fine
