The Warehouse wrote: An Acoustic Evening with Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds to benefit Seeds of Compassion

We are pleased to announce that Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds will be joined by His Holiness the Dalai Lama for an unprecedented evening of conversation, music and compassion at Key Arena in Seattle, Washington on April 11, 2008.

This benefit concert is in celebration of the five-day Seeds of Compassion event centered on His Holiness the Dalai Lama, April 11-15 in Seattle.

An interpersonal dialogue between the Dalai Lama, Dave Matthews and others on the role of music in helping to build cultural, racial and religious bridges and how the emotions experienced through music unify and ultimately serve to create global compassion will take place onstage at 4:30 pm PST prior to the start of the concert. All concert ticket holders are invited to attend the dialogue.

Reserved tickets are priced at $75 each plus a $1 facility fee and may be requested online through Warehouse Ticketing. After login, click on Ticketing, Request Tickets/Tourdates and select Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds.

Warehouse Ticketing Request Period - Series 1-2008:

The request period is open now and will close at 12:00 p.m. noon ET on Wednesday, February 13, 2008. Ticket confirmations will be issued on or before Friday, February 15, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. ET.

The Warehouse ticketing request period is not first-come, first serve. All members will have the same chance at being confirmed for tickets to the Acoustic Evening with Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds. Warehouse tickets for confirmed orders will ship approximately ten business days prior to the show via Fed Ex 2-business day signature required service.

A VIP package will be offered exclusively through Seeds of Compassion. Priced at $1000, the VIP package includes a complimentary ticket with preferred seating to the dialogue and concert, an exclusive reception, two general seating passes to Science Day morning OR afternoon panel, 2 general seating passes to Public Day, 2 general seating passes to Interfaith Dialogue and a limited edition Concert for Compassion poster.

Tickets will be available to the general public through the venue box office and Ticketmaster at 10:00 a.m. PST on Saturday, February 16, 2008.

Seeds of Compassion is an initiative to bring world attention to the importance of nurturing kindness and compassion, beginning with children and extending to all who touch their lives. Seattle will launch the initiative with a community-based gathering, April 11 - 15, featuring dynamic discussions with scientists, researchers, public policy leaders, experts in childhood development and the greater Seattle community. The five-day public event anchored by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, will celebrate and explore opportunities for building compassion through forums and discussions, compassion in action workshops, a resource fair, and an interfaith/spirituality dialogue.

Gervais on Rosa Parks "she was arrested but then that law was changed- but she didnt stop there, she started sitting in the seats saved for disabled people. unbelavable, she talked to the driver when the bus was in motion- did she have the correct change ready? - did she bollox!"

I almost had tickets in section 107 and then fucked it up by waiting too long on Ticketbastard. Now I think I'm fucked. Worst day I've had in years.
