for someone who hasn't been playing very long and got the balls to post something up, i think that was probably the most disrespectful thing you could have said...there's honesty, respect, and constuctive criticism that should all be at work in this forum...yours lacked respect[/quote]

How the hell would I know how long he's been playing?? He just says he hasn't played in a while. That could mean he hasn't picked his guitar up in a couple of weeks or something. And I would agree that most forums should work at having respect, honestly, and constructive criticism, and in your opinion, maybe mine did lack respect. But, if that's the case...yours left out HONESTLY and CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM...so that would make you a hipocrit ;)

Wow, i feel like that patheic kid on american idol that simon says is the worst singer in the world. I have only been playing for 9 months. I like your constructive criticism, at least now i know never to sing again... or not until i practice and get 1000% better. I only recorded it once, I never did a "re-recording". It was sort of like, ok, fuck it, i know its not good, but maybe its just me. Now i know its not just me.

eh. just the connotation was a little negative, that's all. i know some people who'd get hurt if they played something and someone said "that was the funniest thing i've heard," you know? even if it was only one take, that's how some people record.

as said before, it's about respect. you can still be honest and be respectful...it was just rather blunt, and i think that's the only problem i could see out of the post. so just cool off guys. no need to overreact on either side, just be a little more wary about feelings Coop, and if you're on the receiving end, just take it with a grain of salt. :)

I'll let you know straight up. You need to work on keeping rythme. also, the chorus is messed up. You're not playing it at the rythme it's supposed to be played at. Try listening to a D&T version. If needbe, i'll record you the chorus at the way it's supposed to be played. Anyway, it was half-decent. keep jamming and you'll get the hang of it

I personally think that Coop's post was not appropriate. He definitely could have gotten the same message across without telling him it was the funniest thing he has ever heard. That's fucked up. If you are talking about being "honest", do you really think that it was the funniest thing you have ever heard in your life? I dont think so bra. And leave it to FatFuck to endorse such feedback.

BTW, I'll listen to it when I get home and tell you what I think. :)
