Can you play this?

...I sure as hell cannot.

I don't really ever post here, even though I do read through it a lot. However, after seeing this I kind of felt obligated to post it. I usually play electric, so this guy looks like he learned to play on a different planet. Since almost everybody here plays acoustic, I thought you would get a kick out of this:

wow, i just read the "guitarist on conan" thing...i guess i am beating a dead horse here.

anyway, does anybody know what tuning that guy is using?

I think there was a discussion about that in the first thread that was posted in the nDMB section by andyrice13 , try look there , there was something about the tuning there , but im not sure if they figured out exactly what the tuning was , but im sure they were close :)

I was just about to say that :lol: I was just , funny enough , reading through some websites and ended up on a Justin King site , where it said he likes DADGAD alot :) You can get some cool tunes out of that tuning by the way :)

The Days of the New is a great example. I saw them open/play with Jerry Cantrell. I liked them when they actually used musical instruments i.e. their first album. Cantrell kicked the shit out of them. They had a play-off at the end of the show, who could solo and play the best and Jerry ...... won.

I occasionally use DADGAD, mainly to play Kashmir. Highly recommended song to learn, btw.

Other times I just want to try out some new sounds.
