have at it xoosh, and let it be known that my post was edited not because it was obscene, but just because it's time for this issue to die, and if winston doesn't get the last word, he'll start screaming again. besides, he unintentionally makes all the arguments against himself that i need.

yeah i edited your post simply becuase id really like to see this fizzle out. by locking it, my hope was to avoid provoking anyone into more argumentation.

I'll leave it up till the morning unless anyone strongly objects.

Seems like you are the one trying to get the last word....Xoosh deleted your post and told you to let it go because he thought is was appropriate to do so, and yet you felt compelled to write another one....couldn't just let it go, huh? Had to try and get one last word....

I am through here...I have completely dominated this debate and it is time to move on!!!

Winston man, we are just trying to have a good time. Music would have little value to many people if they could not do it themselves. Would Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower" have been heard to as many people if Hendrix had not covered it himself. None of us here are trying to bceome huge recording artists off of Dave's songs, we are just some people that may or may not like to get really drunk and play good music. There is nothing wrong with letting others know how you interpret a song. If someone were to try and say, "Hey, you can download this song if you send me twenty bucks." then that would be going against some copyright law. Just lay back, turn some good music on, and tip one back, and I promise that the world will be just fine. Take it easy.
