DMB Rare and Unreleased
Ok guys, I'm posting this in two or three forums so that I can get as many people's attention as possible. As you might have seen in my thread in the General DMB forum, I've redesigned my website and recently added some more songs.
Also, I've created a mailing list thingy so that I can email those who would like to be on it every time the site gets updated. So please guys, if you would like to take part in that, please send your email address to seth@sethsoutherland.com and I will add you to the list.
Also, please give me some feedback on my website. I've put a lot of work into it would like to hear if you think it's good and if you have any ideas on what I can do with it to make it better. I would really appreciate that, too. I also prettied up my message board on there so feel free to leave your comments on there if you want to.
Once again, the link to my dmb website is http://www.sethsoutherland.com/DMB/index.html.

you have to register to get to the dmb stuff, which I hate having to register.
Then all I get are error messages....then I read I can get around them if I do this or that with my browser.
Call me add, but I just moved on. Too much work.

what's going on? if you guys wouldn't mind emaling me with what kind of problems you are having with the site, i'll get the problems fixed. I did testing before I put that username/password system online and it worked for me, and it has worked for 30+ other people. please don't give up on the site, i've worked hard on it for everyone to enjoy.
why complain about free registration??? i could have charged for it or just not put the web site together at all. don't be ungrateful.
i'm already working with one guy who is a mac user who was having problems, but i think i got that straightened out.
this is just how it goes with web programming. you've got to have a lot of people test it with different platforms and browsers to see if they all like it. there are always the ones that slip through the cracks and it just takes a little time and effort (which i am giving) to get it all taken care of.
it's better to email me with problems than to post them on here, i don't come here all the time anymore.

yeah i wouldn't charge anyone for this but even though this music is free to have and trade, it isn't all easy to find
the email address to reach me about the site is seth@sethsoutherland.com in case anyone needs to use it
i'll be sure to put an email link on the login and registration pages since it seems that there are a couple more people having trouble

I guess my question is why do you feel the need to have a registration in the first place? What is the advantage of it? It is a pain in the ass and if it was truly necessary then I could understand it. So why do it?
To me it is just one more login name and password to remember.
