Fingers out or in?
I've noticed that I let my last 3 fingers on my strum hand fly, instead of curling them up. I know this is probably bad form because they do hit a string every now and then. I've tried on occasion to correct this but it feels uncomfortable curling them up. Does anyone else do this?

I think whatever feels comfortable, and it may change as you develop your style (if you are somewhat new to guitar). I used to almost make a fist when I strummed, and now I can't bear that. Whatching Trey Anastasio play is painful, but whatever feels best.

Watch David Gray when he uses a pick and finger strums, his middle, ring, and pinky just flop down. I do the same to, and if you are hitting strings, just keep playing til you can feel your comfort zone. Then, eventualy no matter when you hop on, your hand will automaticaly find your comfort zone without thinking about it and won't accidentaly hit a string.
Yes, I am in a box
