your damn right you had trouble just with Stream.

I'd have to get jacked on Speed before I'd try to play that craziness. I love it though.
peace,
Ken

yes, uh huh, ok and sure
yeah, if you can send me those Timmy tunes it'd be great. And send me your Stream recording.
yeah, I know the slap technique a little since I play some John Mayer tunes - ones like Neon and Your Body is a Wonderland, he does this. Slap with your thum and pick with your fingers. pretty cool
peace,
Ken (my msn is

# 41
Notes
This was tabbed off of the Listener Supported DVD
For help on playing the stretch chords, check out Mastering Dave's chord stretches.
Intro
Here are the chords Dave plays. He does some strumming with them, which you can hear on the audio clip.
Sometimes he adds the second bar on to the end of the fourth chord.
e:----------------------|--------------|
B:--------------8----3--|--------------|
G:----5----7----7----0--|--h4--4--4p0--|
D:----2----4----5----4--|--------------|
A:----3----5----7----5--|--------------|
E:----5----7---(0)------|--------------|
Verse
The rhythm is important, so check out the audio clip for help.
e:-------------------------------------|
B:----8-X--8-8---8-8----8-X--8-8---8-8-|
G:----7-X--7-7---7-7----7-X--7-7---7-7-|
D:-------------------------------------|
A:-------------------------------------|
E:-5-----------5-----7-----------7-----|
e:-------------------------------------|
B:----8-X--8-8---8-8----8--X-8-8---8-8-|
G:----7-X--7-7---7-7----7--X-7-7---7-7-|
D:-------------------------------------|
A:-7-----------7-----5-----------5-----|
E:-------------------------------------|
Chorus
Once again, listen to the audio clip for the rhythm.
e:-------------------|
B:---------3---------|
G:--4------2------9--|
D:---------0---------|
A:--2-------------7--|
E:--3------2-----/8--|
Jam
The chords here are the same as the intro (with the exception of the third chord), but the rhythm is much different. Each chord comes on the offbeat, and if you're not sure what that is check out the audio clip for help.
e:--------------------------|--------------------------|
B:--------------------------|--------------------------|
G:-----5--x--5--x--5--x--5--|-----7--x--7--x--7--x--7--|
D:-----2--x--2--x--2--x--2--|-----4--x--4--x--4--x--4--|
A:-----3--x--3--x--3--x--3--|-----5--x--5--x--5--x--5--|
E:--5--5--x--5--x--5--x--5--|--7--7--x--7--x--7--x--7--|
e:--------------------------|--------------------------|
B:--------------------------|-----3--x--3--x--3--x--3--|
G:-----4--x--4--x--4--x--4--|-----0--x--0--x--0--x--0--|
D:-----5--x--5--x--5--x--5--|-----4--x--4--x--4--x--4--|
A:--7--7--x--7--x--7--x--7--|--5--5--x--5--x--5--x--5--|
E:--------------------------|--------------------------|
Ending
Dave plays some higher chords here, which are basically:
I [ II ] III IV
e:--10-----7--8--7-----5-----5--|
B:---8-----8--8--8-----8-----7--|
G:---9-----7--7--7-----7-----7--|
D:------------------------------|
A:------------------------------|
E:------------------------------|
Sometimes, as on Listener Supported, Dave throws in this passage where chord II is:
e:--7--8--10-8--7-----8--7--|
B:--8--8--8--8--8-----8--8--|
G:--7--7--7--7--7--7--7--7--|
D:--------------------------|
A:--------------------------|
E:--------------------------|
And after chords III and IV he throws in:
e:--5--5---5--5--|
B:--8--7---8--7--|
G:--7--7---7--7--|
D:---------------|
A:---------------|
E:---------------|
Make the most of your life,...
"In the end it all piles up so tall to one big nothing, one big nothing at all."
