So I'm seeing my first DMB concert on 9/11
I'm so psyched. DMB has been my favorite band for about 2 years now but I have never seen them live (besides on videos). Anyone else going to this concert? it's at the University of Florida. What music has he been playing lately? mostly old stuff, or a lot of new things? I hope he plays Ants Marching and Crash Into Me. I got a lot more serious with guitar just because of Crash Into Me. And Ants is just an awsome song. BTW are there whole concert recordings of every concert they play? That'd be cool to get the recording of the show I went to. I wonder if he's gonna mention the WTC... maybe he'll do a tribute or something.

That was such an awsome concert... I had no idea who the opening band would be, and then it turned out to be the Wailers... it was an extra bonus. I had never heard A Dream So Real, #27, The Idea of You, or Loving Wings. (Here's the setlist: http://dmbalmanac.com/TourShowSet.aspx?id=453056489). Does anybody know the story behind #27? He couldn't have had a song written for 12 years and never played it... Anyways, it was so great, I was so happy they played Ants... They also played a double encore of Sister and Stay (Wasting Time). Do they usually play 2 songs for the encore? They played a lot of new/newer things. Despite them playing 3 songs from Stand Up, I was surprised they didn't play the two that I think are the best, American Baby and HFTGL. Anyways, it was great... I had a blast. Gotta catch them next time they come around here. Maybe next time they'll play at FSU so I won't have to drive to see them.
