thanks for fixing that link. i thought the eh hee with the roots was pretty damn cool. it's not at all the sound i envisioned for that song full band, but i think it worked. it think it would be cool to hear that kind of flow for most of the song, then go into a more african, world kind of jam.

Thanks for the dl. Like I said in the other thread, it sounds like they're covering somebody else. The jazzy/unusual chord changes don't fit at all, it sounds like they're trying too hard.

I like this version of Eh Hee. I just felt the other versions got Batsonized.

Dream So Real was just okay. There wasn't really a melody or anything that I could recognize. It might sound cool in the studio with lots of jazzy piano though


Eh Hee was cool when The Roots were doing their thing. The rest of it blew pretty much. That's the first time I've heard full-band Eh Hee and I'm not impressed in the least bit. I think Carter just threw down a loop and walked off stage for 5 minutes :?

I think that Dream So Real has some potential at least. I wasn't a big fan of it on this, but I think its a song that could evolve in to something nice down the line.
