Only 234 made and Dave owns 1, 2 and 3.

Beyond that though, it doesn't play like a normal Martin, so I've heard. I think it's a guitar where you have to adjust your playing style a little to be comfortable with it. I don't know why, it looks like a normal Martin, but that's just what I've heard.

I'm not that big of a taylor person. I prefer martins.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

Be careful what you say...there is no need to start an 8 page thread about Taylor vs Martin.

Just a word to the wise. People can go nuts around here (even me). With 1380+ posts, you might recognize that...

Ok, I was taking that from a DIRECT quote on the side-site used for Dave's guitars. Quote here:
Only 234 of these were made, and Dave owns #1, 2 and 3.

I'm going to get an SST soon. One of my dad's friends has one, and I was playing it today. My dad said he would get me one, then his freind said he'll prolly just sell me that one. it retais for about $2500, but he got his for $1400. I really want one, I don't care if Dave doesn't play one anymore. I played it today through this guy's amp, and it sounds great. One of the best guitars I've ever seen, and such a thin body.

the anderson crowdster sounds better... dont know about playability. talked to a guy who owns both and says the crowdster is a lot better. more expensive than the chet though.

Yea, i looked that guitar up after you recomended it instead of a chet, and it looks beautiful.. if i wanted a chet, i'd sway away and save more cash for the anderson crowdster
