Just bought this last night and it was awesome. I have grown out of listening to much DMB lately as I didn't like Stand Up and was growing bored of there stuff. This DVD got me excited about some newer songs and playing Dave on guitar. I hate to say this which might be considered blasphemy but I can't wait for the day the band breaks up and it's just Dave and Tim.
L@RC might be one of Dave's best vocal performances. He hits all the right notes and his voice sounds strong through some of the higher notes were his voice usually cracks a little bit(bartender wailing,etc.). Tims fills are amazing and perfect as usual. It's amazing some of the sounds he comes up with and how it just perfectly harmonizes with what Dave is doing.
I actually got chills during Tim's LIOG solo. There was a point were Dave looked over at Tim in absolute disbelief of what he was playing. I own a lot of D&T shows and this definitely ranks up there with the best of them. I highly recommend purchasing this DVD.

Which part? The three minutes wailing on the one note? I wouldn't say chills. More like the shakes. And I believe that look of disbelief was because Tim played the same note for 3 minutes and the crowd still cheered. "Man, I cannot believe they cheered for that."mlb1399 wrote:Just bought this last night and it was awesome. My bets are on that Dave bet Tim that he could play a one note solo and the crowd would still be all over his nuts. And Dave won.

He says 'thank you' when Tim stops, but what does 'thank you' mean? Did that mean 'thank you' for finally quiting the solo...or what? Was Dave mad for what Tim did?
Watch the documentary when Dave was talking about "playing less and less" to eventually one note. I think Tim was being funny by actually playing one note.
At the end of the solo you see Dave and Tim laughing and Tim saying "One note" He was taking Dave's idea and actually doing it.

I watched it for the first time and Dave says it mockingly meaning "thank you for playing a different note finally"rekeen01 wrote:I still dont understand if dave was happy about the one-note solo or not??
