I got a new Nady TCM1050 studio mic (fucking good quality) and a Fishman Neo-D sound hole pickup in my new Michael Kelly guitar.

I listened to it a bit ago.. the stuff I remember was that the mic and pickup sounded weak.. felt like they both needed a lot more gain or something..*shrug*

hey rant, that was kinda cool.

The guitar sounded pretty solid and the strumming differed from the original a bit which I liked.
The vocals were too quiet in the beginning, but in the last chorus they were wonderfully powerful. I should probably get closer to the mic when you sing quietly.

It sounded different which I think is a positive thing.

I've never had this supended thing happen before, wha'ts going on? With the people posting, it looks like not many people have downloaded it. What the hell is going on????

pardon me, but i haven't seen you all over the recording board critiquing (i could be mistaken)...and i'm saying this not with any negative tone, and i realize that you are always there to help...but for the most part in this forum, the more you offer up to help critique others, the more people are willing to jump to give you feedback...

and i liked your cover...i think the best part of your recordings is the variation you give songs with your voice, you've got a good thing going for you there

think about it.. if you don't critique other peoples recordings, why should they bother critiquing yours?
