So, I'd just like to take a moment to remind everyone that despite all the new D+F shows and not so new summer tour shows, early DMB is still awesome. Of course, most of y'all don't need reminding, but people like me do, who easily get wrapped up in the new stuff.
I dont listen to anything post 98...I have 12 DMB disks in my 12 disc changer in my car. 1 show from 93(D&T), one show from 94(DMB), UTTAD, Red Rocks, Chicago, and a D&T from 97...that's all you need my brotha.

Same here. I remember "Crash into me" being on Casey Casem's "long distance dedication" portion of the weekly top 40 alot.

Joe, I thought you were 20 or something.

Wow, really?

I actually dislike those the most

I don't like Dave's higher, younger, scratchier voice on Red Rocks.
And I just don't find Chicago too special.

I like Folsom and CP.

i think in those years dave was at his prime...but, as the saying goes on this board, different strokes for different folks. ;)

i love the guests on Chicago, especially Victor on #41. that video is amazing...

I love Maceo in Chicago and I love the Last Stop on Chicago as well #41. I love Red Rocks because of Carter being awsome on that CD and Dave being in his prime. I love CP because of Two Step, Jimi Thing, and Cortez. I love Folsom Field because of What You Are, JTR, and Ants. I love LS most of all because of the cleaness of the sound and probably the best Two Step I have heard as well as #41. Thats about it, I have to say that Folsom is my least favorite, it sounds the worst

Yeah, I gotta admit, Vic is the shit.

Hey! that ryhmed!

I think I like Folsom because it was really the first DMB cd I was into. So Right from FF was the original song that hooked me.

The Jimi Thing on Central part is amazing. I love that version...Other than that Red Rocks is probably the best CD to date (Awesome version of Seek Up), but the What would you say on Chicago is sweet because of Maceo, and the #41 because of victor wooten.

Chicago is special because it has The Last Stop.

Yes, the outro on the Last Stop is amazing. I love playin it on drums/guitar. The two songs I really like on Folsom is So Right and What You Are. Not to mention Lerois old school "tower of power" ending of JTR. Those who know of ToP know that riff. Also Lerois riff on Anyone See the Bridge. Also a class ToP riff
