if you are spending $450, i'd just buy an acoustic and add the pickup later on when you have some more cash. you're not going to get a very nice pickup on a $450 guitar, but later you can add a really nice one for less than $100.

the takamine EG540SC is quality
i own this guitar and this statement is so true...it feels bulletproof and has a unique look...the one you settled on looks sharp and i'm definately feeling the inlay!

I have a celebrity deluxe. i got it back in 1999. it sounds pretty good for the price. the only thing i wish was better was the low end. i guess thats what you get with a shallow back and small soundholes though. the only other negative is that is slides off your lap fairly easily.
