hi guys,

i've recently gotten a web site up and i'd like to use it for a good cause for all of the dave fans

i have a lot of the rare and unreleased dave songs, and i'd like to post them on my web site. also, i'd like to collect as many of the ones i don't have as well.

i'm going to spend some time in the next day or two and type up a list of the songs that i have and post it on my website. i'll provide the address of it when i have the site up.

what i'd like to do for everyone is let them email me and request a song, and then i'll post it for them so they can download it from me.

also, i'd like others to help out and contact me if they have a rare song/recording/unreleased that i don't have, by dmb or by any other band that a member of dmb is playing with.

i'll also get a section for the songs from the last few years that have been played on the tours but haven't made it onto an album.

please let me know if this is something i should dedicate some time to or if i would just be wasting my time. if i don't get many responses saying "hey that's a good idea!" i'll have to assume that it would be a waste of time.

Sounds cool. You could really get into it and post all the performances of unreleased songs, like every Shotgun, etc. Another cool thing would be the ability to stream the audio over the net instead of having the dl the song.

ok guys, i'll make this my next big project

right now i'm finishing up on a project for Dawn of War: Dark Crusade
i've been putting together tech trees for all seven races in the game
it has turned out well and i'm almost done with it

i should be able to get started on the music stuff next week

so right now i'm uploading about 2.5 gigs of music for the site

gonna be cool!

i think i have some code that will make it streamable as well as downloadable, but we'll see if i can get it to work first

i'm going to be pretty busy for a while with wedding preparations, so be patient
