Song Writing

how many of you guys have written your own songs? ive wriiten one so far, if ya want to check it out, its at http://mike.flerd.net/endlesslove.html , i wrote that song this past week, and i think the title works fairly well, if you want to see the lyrics so far, IM me and read my subprofile. i just would like to know if there are any fellow music writers out there or if all of ya play just what someone else has written. im not sayin theres anything wrong with that, but it would be cool to write your own song(s) every once and a while

i've written some 8 songs myself. i think it is nearly impossible to play guitar and play other peoples stuff and not make up something on your own. shoot most oldies songs are 3 chords. i have one song based around E and A. theres a couple of riffs there but it all winds down to 2 chords.

writing and creativity is what it's all about sometimes. word.
