Talkin Sh!t about DMB
So this is an article that a girl wrote in our school newspaper.
"Throughout the year, Ive consistently ripped apart DMB. So its only logical that one of the questions Im consistently asked is why do I hate DMB so much? Heres my answer: because they suck.
(Nothing important)
Lets start off with DMB. Overall, this band could be considered decnt in terms; their career has been sucessful, they dont gice off a high maintenance vibe and they seem to be beloved by wannabe-hippies and frat boys alike. No one can absolutely hate DMB.
But thats the problem. No one is truly able to form an opinion on DMB because theres nothing to form an opinion on. Every song by DMB is the same song. The only thing that makes "American Baby" and Grey Street" different is the lyrics. This would be acceptable, but the music itself isnt good enought to warrant every song following the same cord (yes she did spell it like this) progression.
Alright , Im done bashing DMB; there is worse music to be dealt with."
Comments? and what are the chord progressions for both cause Im going to write to the editor.

The girl is obviously an idiot, but if she had said that the chord progressions of Grey Street and the intro to Tripping Billies were the same, I couldn't really disagree. Dave does that a lot, but that's his style. It doesn't matter though, the music, lyrics, and overall songs are brilliant, and who cares what the girl in the school newspaper says.

As unintelligent and musically ignorant as this chick sounds, I would say don't write a response. Laugh at her terrible article, but writing a response will most likely get you nothing but more flack from her and other people who don't like DMB (which believe it or not, there are plenty more people than just this girl out there than don't like them).
