http://www.megaupload.com/?d=07KYBGZ2 is the link. Let me know if it doesn't work.

The song as it stands is 1:30. Tomorrow when I get together with the pianist in my band, we're planning on doing a 2 or 3 minute jam/solo with that. I did the percussion in this cut, so it's a little off. It'll be redone tomorrow by someone with rythym. Let me know what you guys think.

Edit: that link doesn't work, I'm yousending it now

A scatterbrained critique:

I like the mellow feel of the song. The vocals are too quiet. The instruments and effects sound great, but I'd prefer if the mix was more centered. It really reminds me of Pay For What You Get. The lyrics seem a bit cliche to me, but that may be due to the low vocal volume (and delivery is extrememly important for making lyrics sound genuine). However, it's your song and if you like it as is, don't change a thing. Hope that's useful.

thanks for the review. I'll play with the mix today and redo the vocals.

I agree. It sounded like it was a little jumbled, but that is probably because of the levels. I'm sure if you tweak them around, especially the drums and vocals, you've got something worth exploring.

that mix was crazy! Sounds were coming from evrywhere, but I kinda digged that. Sounds like a cool idea, but not quite a song yet. You have a pretty good voice too, what kinda effects did you put on the vocals? Anyways, good job.

Very very cool vocal lines over the guitar! Perhaps too much reverb, but even so it doesn't hurt the song. great job overall!
