Everybody always asks me how she's doing. Has she really lost her mind? I said "I couldn't tell you, I've lost mine."

why? it's not that hard. i admit, it can be tough at first, but it's really not that hard at all to play. personally, i agree, i think along with jimi thing, its daves best guitar riff and one of the coolest ever, but it's not that hard.DmbFanJason wrote:i highly doubt you can play that song right john...esp since you dont give it as much credit as it deserves bro.

I think it is a rad riff, too. But not that hard. at first i learned it from the tab book, which doesnt show which fingers to use. i was using the first finger to bar the fifth fret, and hitting the rest of the notes. then, i figured it out that you have to use the pinky, but i didnt know about the 4 / 6 slide on the g string, so now i have it down perfectly...PERFECTLY!!!

are you serious? why do you think this riff is some amazingly difficult thing to play. it's not that hard man. i was able to teach my friend it in one afternoons jamming session. it really isn't that complex due.DmbFanJason wrote:for all you peeps that think they can play it right....I have yet to hear anyone play it correctly and I have heard a fair share of attempts...I would like to see you try,

I cant remember exactly what he said but Dave in an interview one time said something like "I cant write stuff like So Much To Say anymore. I mean, I don't know how I came up with that. Maybe I should start taking whatever I was on again."
Not a quote just an approximation. I cant remember what interview either.
