Old dave or new?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I think its amazing people think the new stuff is amazing. Its not terrible or anything, but its definitely not great. Its DEF not great if you compare it to past albums.

Dave in 96 or 97. Those were his prime years. His voice had developed enough so it wasnt just a warble like it was in the early early days, but it hadnt been scratched dry like it is now. Musically, the band had been playing together for half a decade or so...long enough to be tight with eachother, without being so polished its stale. The new stuff is just bleh. Its not bad, its not good. It just "is."

Old dave is the best but new dave is not far from it. Now Some Devil wasn't as great as I expected and either was busted stuff but I can still put on the CD's and listen to it all the way through and be damn happy.
