So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

this summer, at the gorge in particular, dave has been playing butterfly a little differently, with a him fiddling around at the end with the fingerings...really it sounds quite lovely, but does anyone have the tabs?

I'm not sure how many people know about the site...but liog.org has every recording since like 98 and most before that.

That's probably not new news, but it's a good idea when you need to hear something, and you know the date.

Alright, here's what I came up with as far as the variations he does from night 2 of the gorge '06:

Code: Select all

After intro/verse riff
------------------------
--3--3--3---------------
--x--x--0h2-------------
--4--4--0----0h2-etc----
--2--2--0---------------
--3--2--0---------------

--------------------------------------
--3--3--3----3----3-----3----3--------
--0--0--0h2--x----x-----x----0--------
--0--0--x----0h2--2h4---2----x--etc---
--x--x--3----3----3-----3----2--------
--2--3--------------------------------
Hope that helps ya out.
