Oh well, so it's pretty old stuff but still totally rad.

here some songs i did 2 years ago with Me&MyBand ( http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~schmeer/ ) when we were all still trying to learn things.

Guitar~~> http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~schmeer/Pulling%20Ace.mp3
Guitar~~> http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~schmeer/Auntie%20Elle.mp3
First time i ever played Bass~~> http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~schmeer/Kyle.mp3

and the lyrics sheet makes it that much funnier if you're interested... ( http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~schmeer/Lyrics.html )

and if you go to the website and click on "who is Me&MyBand", I'm Greg. click on my name to see me. (and other words do cool stuff too, honestly, the whole site is hilarious)

"many infectious diseases!! when ya get ya some>>> hopefully never..." those first 2 are definately my favorites. Pulling Ace could be my absolute favorite song i've ever written. at least my favorite that i've recorded.

we used to play shows in the hallways just outside our door or even in our room with like 15 people crowded in while we jammed. it was crazy fun. that's where a lot of those recordings on the site come from...

back with this band, we had a five minute rule. five minutes to find a verse/chorus/bridge progression, and then five minutes to figure out an idea of the lyrics (we always chose a dichotomy, like all of our songs are about 2 completely different things cuz we could never think of enough stuff about any one of them, like kyle is about kyle and fraternitys. pulling ace is about rodrigo getting laid, and tobacco) and then five minutes to record. and that's how we wrote about 25 songs that semester.

that was alright i guess, i only listened to a few tunes. the singing wasn't anything special, i would describe it as adequate :) but whoever did the neal young song shouldn't have tried to cpy neal's voice, that almost impossible.

lets here something recent dude

i don't really ever sing, but as you can tell i may be better than most of the guys i've been in bands with...

i don't have internet at home so i have no way to post anything. give me until the spring where i should be able to do some stuff.

if you want i can post stuff from my fluids band (we had a band dedicated to my Fluids Dynamics 377 Proffesor) from last fall. we needed some extra credit in the class so we thought make a CD for our prof might help...it didn't...it was recorded on one of those little 1980's tape recorders so the quality and EQ'ing is definately lacking but i'd be willing to put up a link.
