So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

In my opinion, I think Listener supported is best for four reasons: Daves voices is awesome, the set list (the stone, 41, 36, and LBV) the band flows so well together. (They always do but this one specially), and it's the only album I can think of off the top of my head that has a really good dave solo (End of Jimi thing) But all the live album rule

Man, it's subjective as to which one is the best. You can't really lable any of them as the best, because people like certain aspects of the live albums. I like all of them for totally different reasons.

Red Rocks = that setlist is friggin cool, and so are the many extended jams.
Listener Supported = for all reasons mentioned above, a very heavy BTCS setlist, plus great versions of #40 and #41
Luther College = Not a DMB cd, but an amazing one nontheless. Dave and Tim; what else needs to be said?
Chicago = Last Stop! Again, a very BTCS heavy setlist and I like that. The guest musicians are amazing too. Go Wooten.
Folsom Field = Bartender is on there if nothing else. I also like So Right on that album (refrain from flames please).
Central Park = Pretty good mix of old and new. Love the 12+ minute Crush on there. Also, Dave's scatting is awesome on it, especially on Jimi Thing.

LIVE AT GORGE = depending on how it's packaged, this may be the best one ever!
Overall though, I like Red Rocks and Chicago the most.

red rocks because i think it has the best songs on it. Seek up is the best version i've ever heard, LIOG is really awesome, and Boyd's solo on DN is the best solo i've heard by him.

central park is a close second though

If you're buying just the CD get Red Rocks. I think Listener Supported is the best overall DVD. CP has some great parts, like Jimi Thing, but LS is still my favorite.

LS, best DVD overall, it is the orignal and the classic.

As for cds, L@LC, to me is the shizznit. That cd inspired me to play guitar, or at least try too. Great set list all the way throughout.

I like all of them as well...they all have their own highs. Best overall, I'd have to say Listener Supported, there is just a certain feeling that was in the air that night and you can really feel it on both the cd and the dvd. You can't beat DMB live.

Ok, i'll elaborate a little more.
Red Rocks is an awesome show, i.e. proudest monkey, two step, lie in and ofcoures drive in drive out(a classic rambling live song).

Chicago was good.

Folsom is pretty good, i like the busted stuff songs and everday songs as well.

Well, i'll just cut to the chase. Listener Supported is the best. Its just soo smooth, granted it could have done without the lovely ladies(maybe). The setlist, the guitar views(dvd) and two step says it all. Ofourse you knew that by now
