tuning

whenever i play somethings missing by mayer, I have to tune it to like ebef#be tuning or something right. but a lot of the time when i try to tune it back I keep breaking strings, not everytime but Ive broken an assload from that one song. what the hell is going on?

tension from the strings. flex it around too much, it's not gonna be happy. from my experience i let the string set a bit before i start retuning again.

I had that problem a while back. My only suggestion is that you let the strings adjust to the new tuning and slowly work them back to where they need to be. Think about it like a peace of elastic. Everytime you stretch it , it doesnt go back to the original size. Same sorta thing exact opposite.
