Homeward Bound (cover) Inside!

Unread post by AdamCU81 » Mon Mar 01, 2004 5:34 am

After watching the Simon and Garfunkle Live in Central Park DVD several times this week I decided I had to learn Homeward Bound. And while there's no Garfunkle to back up "my Simon," I think it works. Thanks for listening and as always feedback is appreciated.

(it should be the first song on the page)

Fine work - I highly enjoyed this. I'm a huge fan of Paul Simon and you certainly did a great job with this tune. To be honest, when I heard the first line I didn't think your voice would fit well with the song but it developed nicely and ended up being great. The guitar work was great and you did a nice job with the semi-high notes. Fantastic quality, by the way. I would absolutely love to play some S&G songs with you. Again, nice job.
-Brian

Be excellent to one another.

God i just thought about that last post and i'm ashamed.

Your cover was great. you have a wonderful voice. anyone who can do an amazing job in the vocal area for a paul simon song has one hell of a voice. and you have just that. guitar sounded really good too. but it seems pretty simple, so i'm wondering where you learned it...hence the other post.

Thanks for the comments! I used the tab at: http://www.guitaretab.com/s/simon-and-g ... /17269.htm
I didn't quite do all the fingerpicking because I'm a slacker.
