Counting Crows cover-- Angels of the Silences

Unread post by Humble Monkey » Wed Feb 18, 2004 8:21 pm

The guitar in this song is pretty boring actually, but I'm posting it because I think the singing is good, & I don't think the Say Goodbye song I previously posted, did my singer justice...so here it is:

I've never heard this song before, but I like it. Your guitar playing is excellent, and you singer is really good. I wish I could sing like that.

That was great. I thought maybe the vocals had too much treble to them, but it was still highly enjoyable. I'd love to hear you guys do "Anna Begins" from Counting Crows if you get a chance.

Good job.

I haven't learned Anna Begins 'yet', but I'm sure I will :)
When you said the vocals had too much treble, do you mean the recording or his actual singing?
Thanks for the feedback, but I'm surprised that there's about 30 views of thread & only a couple of replies..?....not many Counting Crowes fans on the board I guess.... :?

I meant the recording. Just seems a little sharp to my ears at points. I love the Counting Crows, though. They're a tad depressing, but for the most part I thoroughly enjoy their stuff. Again, I enjoyed this cover.

Thanks for clarifying that; I need to start recording us play again, the 3 songs I've posted on this board were all recorded about 6 months ago.
