D-35 for sale
D-35 for sale
Hi all.
I just got a Martin D-35 last week. I have found that it is not the guitar for me. I am selling it for $1550. I am in Connecticut and I will deliver it to you if we are a reasonable distance. Otherwise I will ship it. My email is rojaer12@hotmail.com
Thanks
Erik

alright dude, im a little drunk but listen. ive read your posts about your d-35 and i think i know what your problem is. you have said yourself you are a beginner. you said that when you fret a string that it buzzes. that is not the guitars fault. it is because you are just now starting to play the guitar. when just beginning your fingers arent strong enough to push down the strings without buzz. youve just got to practice and practice and eventually it will come along. just stick with it. you arent goign to find a better guitar that will magically soudn good.
I appreciate the responses. I am not a complete beginner. Just havent played in a while. I think what it comes down to is that the action is a little high and the strings are a little thicker than what I am use to. I use to have a D-15 and that always felt perfect from the first time I touched it. I havent gotten that feeling from the D-35. I dont want to rush out and get work done on this guitar just yet. I guess I dont really want to sell it. I just threw that out there. It is such a nice guitar. I just have to make it mine and that will take some time. But again thanks for the responses.

i just got a d-16rgt a while ago. i know that a d-35 is way better than my guitar. just take it to a guitar shop and get it set up with lights on it. i had my action lowered just a little bit from the martin set up and it helped alot. there is no buzzing and the strings are about as low as you can get them. if you just spent a couple more dolllars on the bad ass guitar you already bought you would have it playing like a dream.

i always want to play the thickest strings i can...but if i were you, i take this as an opportunity to strengthen those fingers up! get comfortable with that high action and those thick strings and you'll be a better player in a couple of months because of it!

Yeah, I have played a D-35 and D-28, just the look is pretty much all that is different (with the 3 peice back). You will regret selling it. Take it to a shop, and have the guitar tweaked to what you like, so it will suit you. Lower the action, get it set for different strings, or even file down the frets if want, don't sell this. But yeah, play with the high action, the have it lowered, to help with your fingers. Don't sell this, trust me, it's a damn good guitar.
Yes, I am in a box
