D&T Warehouse

To anyone who has or is familiar with tims effects (DL4 and the Boss delay), how does he do that deep bassy growling during the passion into of warehouse during the tours in the mid-late 90's. I know its like what howie day does at the end of karma police, but that can be done with just the DL4. I think tim loops something, then with the infinite delay from the boss pedal slows it down. I don't know though, becuase the timing in what is looped doesn't change as he slows it down, it just gets deeper. I also know that he has his E tuned down to a B. If anyone knows what i'm talking about and knows how do it, let me know. I'm taking it from the 3.14.99 show but i've heard it in many others also.

i knwo what your talking about steele i have done it successfully once or twice while jammin with my buddy but your right about the b, he tunes it down and then does it, and yes he does loop something, i just use the dl-4, i have a dd-6 but i dont use it for that. it is somethign liek what howie does...i believe your talkign about the slowing down thing at the end? if so then yeh you do that but not as much as you think. i will ply around with it tonight and see if i can get a deifnite answer for you, just email me or instant message me either tonight or tomorrow or whenever for anything more detailed than this...peace and goodluck
