NOTE - the quality (as usual for me) isn't so hot and theres a couple places where it skips a bit cause my cool edit pro always does

nice transitions, your tripping billies was a little wierd on the rhythm. i didn't like the transition to one sweet world, everything else was flowing so well and then you slowed it down, i liked the fast better. the rest of it was awesome, you found ever dave song in A huh :D at least i think you were playing in A i didn't check it.

i loved most of the transitions, you did a great job.

yeah that was the hardest part, making everything go into A in the beginning, and yeah, billies was weird, didn't like playing it lower

thanks for the comments :D

Nice medly there , maybe it went too fast at times , but i liked it , but you should try keeping it at the same kinda speed , instead of going fast to slow and so on , try to keep it as equal as possible , nice overall though :)

That was pretty cool. I would watch your timing though, the medley is kind of jumpy. Also, ya missed a few notes here and there, but overall it was cool to listen to.

if i had the equipment i would share... but i have this transition i like to use... but don't everyone go stealing my idea if you like it.... just kidding, have a blast w/ it.... but here it is,... i LOVE to jam on LIOG... esp this little doozy right here:

(LIOG jam)
Long Jam Start/End
Strum a D-chord instead of first chord as lead in(first time only)
E:-------------------------
B:-------------------------
G:--11---9---7---4---4---6-- <---2
D:--x----x---x---x---x---x-- ********* then flow into --->
A:--x----x---x---x---x---x-- *********Grey Street --->
E:--10---9---7---3---3---5-- <---1

(Intro to Grey Street (solo version))
Intro/Verse
E:----------------------------------
B:--7----3---5---3----3---5---3---3--
G:--7----4---6---2----4---6---2---4--
D:--x----x---x---x----x---x---x---x--
A:--x----x---x---x----x---x---x---x--
E:--7----3---5---2----3---5---2---3--........................

and you can take it from there! enjoy, and let me know if it's to anyone's liking :D ! and sometimes i go from the "long middle jam" instead of the "long middle start" into Grey St., but whatever's to your liking!

Here's my attempt

http://mysite.verizon.net/vze1llud/medley_dmb.mp3

I used the mike my computer came with and Windows sound recorder, so don't expect much as far as sound quality. There are several mistakes and a couple of the transitions are kind of forced. I might fix it up tomorrow.

I always keep my index on the E string, my ring on the G, and my middle on the B. for the 7xx77- chord, I just squish my fingers together and on the 2xx23- I squish again, but I just lay my pinkie down on the 3red fret on the B string (much easier than switching fingers on the G and B.

hope that helped :)

Yesterday I had over 1 year old Martin strings on a crappy Carlos I traded an old 13" TV for. Today I have brand new Ernie Ball Earthwood silk and steel strings on a crappy Carlos I traded an old 13" TV for.

You had some good transitions. I wanted to include WWYS --> SMTS in mine but I couldn't find a way to do it. I might use yours to mix it in, since we both had at least one of the same songs it shouldn't be too hard to backtrack.

BTW, here is the same medley with the new strings. I tried to clean it up a little without too much success. I guess I'm out of practice (not that I was too great to begin with).
