Actually, the show was great. I just wanted to see Dave play, didn't care too much for the country crap. Man, no matter how many times he plays his songs they sound different every time. I guess that's what makes me sick the most. :) Did anyone notice how he really killed those high notes in when he played save me? Really butchered'em

yeah, Dave's a great musician, but I've been noticing he's been losing his falsetto capabilities...It's very obvious on the central park show. But hey...playing as many shows as he has, you'd expect that...and he's still making great music.

He could have had a sore throat or been drunk the night b4  I personally don't think he is losing it , he can be sick as everyone else

so..... making you sick is a good thing then?

i'd never heard a really solo too much before, i thought it was great. gravedigger/save me same as usual, very good. there was an interview with dave on ch 17 where i live right after his performances from october 2, 2003.. it was pretty interesting, only caught the last half though. he played gravedigger on his dm3md. nice.

i think it may have something to do w/ how much he screams now. i mean look at stuff like bartender and ddtw and last stop, he's constantly screaming, and it affects his falsetto. i guess you can't have both

He's been avoiding lots of falsetto all summer. 9/9/03, I was there.. he stayed away from falsetto on Jimi Thing, Ants, and changed the loud notes on #41 and Grey Street. But yet, the setlist involved Grey, #41, Ants, Bartender, Stay, Watchtower, Spoon, Billies... really putting his vocal range to the limit. Spoon sounds so different now...

Well then he's been sick since 2000. Cause that was the last time I heard him hit any high notes or give a good yell.

Nope...I've heard him TRY to go high several times since 2000. There's no choice in the matter. He simply cant hit the notes like he used to.
