looking for Violin tabs

Topics about musical instruments other than guitar should go here. There's bound to be a Carter, LeRoi, or Yo-Yo Ma out there.

I've never played, but I've seen my cousin have these little stickers she put under the strings so she knew where to play each note on the fingerboard (or whatever it's called). I guess that's where the tab thing would come from.

i don't play, but a good friend of mine does, and when she looked at them, she said it wouldn't be perfect, but it would give you a good sense of where you need to put your hand - think about it guys, do upright basses have frets? :?

yeah, but lots of people can play upright after playing with frets on electric bass, i'm just saying, its not perfect, but its not impossible

yes, they can, but be able to play with the frets on the electric doesn't help very much on the upright. with all unfretted stringed instruments, you have to be able to discern the note with your ears, the position is just general.
