Need Suggestion for music for class

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Need Suggestion for music for class

Unread post by mdel21 » Thu Nov 06, 2003 10:47 am

I'm doing a presentation in my religion class about the Eucharist, which is basically the whole mass. When it's time for the offertory, which is normally when money is collected, we're gonna have everyone write down a worry and offer it to God. Anyway, we're gonna play Pantala in the background cause the lyrics fit, the problem is it's only 40 seconds long and this little activity should take a little longer. So my question is what can I do to length it? Is there a song I can attach on the end, or should I put it on repeat?

Thanks for any help,

Del

Rapunzel would do nicely.

Just kidding. Or maybe Say Goodbye instead?

You could use a D&T version (L@LC). They are usually longer, but may limit the lyrical content.

We're gonna record our own version of it. My friend and I are gonna play the guitars, we're getting a girl to sing, and we're gonna have someone play the bongo. We're just gonna play the verse two extra times without lyrics. It should sound alright. Thanks for your suggestions.

how bout you do a verse w/o words, then a verse with words, and then a verse w/o words. that would make it seem more balanced

Actually that's what we're gonna do. Sorry I didn't make it clear. I spend all day trying to figure out what to do as far as CDs and burning and finding different versions, so I figured if you want things done right, do them yourself.
