no ive never heard it(of course i dont have my guitar on me so i can't actually hear it), but D&T play so much stuff in concert that i wouldn't doubt that they've played for someone somewhere before.

yeah i've heard so many little improved jams in between songs at D+T concerts and even at DMB concerts that i wholely believe that could very well be a jam they've done.

Like I heard this arabian style intro to Dont Drink the Water at the Wallingford Concert, Im not sure if he did it ever again, but they do such cool improv shit that thats probably a jam

Ok, guess what!!!! those are the same first few notes of the chorus to DOOF. There is a note that I always put in there and others disagree with it. I bet this is just a random jam, and that maybe this did turn into DOOF's chorus. I don't know, just the first part sounds like the begining of DOOF's chorus.
