Question about the Martin DXK2 Koa

I may be getting this guitar for christmas, and was just wondering if anyone here either has one, or knows anything about them that may be bad.. I've played it in guitar center and it's a beautiful guitar.. love the tone.. just looking for some input.. oh, and is $500 a good deal for one?
