I got "So Much To Say"

Unread post by borocks » Sun Sep 21, 2003 8:33 pm

it's been awhile that I posted my last Cover...
Well, today I recorded SMTS. It's probably not one of my best covers, but I think it's quite okey, because the song is not one of Dave's easiest.

I think this time I hit the right speed of the song pretty well....

Tell me what you think of it.

Peace, Bo

nice job Bo... sounds good....sounds like you're trying to slow down your songs a bit which is really good...this one's still a little fast, but you should try to play with a D&T bootleg or even the Crash album...but this is really good, nice job man...keep posting songs dude!

I played with an acoustic version of that song. It seemed pretty fast to me, obviously more that the album version. Maybe Dave had the intention to rush a bit more. My version is pretty accurate to that one.

I think the speed is pretty damn good for me, because that's the thing people always criticize when I do some cover, but I managed to get better with that...

thanx man.
Yeah, I work with this program Steinberg called WaveLab. There you got some cool effects. And because the recordings made with my crappy mixer sound so boring, I add more bass, increase the volume and add some reverb.
I think it sounds a bit more interesting with that. I think a lot of people do so...

Doesn't Dave also use quite often some delay and reverb for his vocals too?
