I Know that dave used D'addario coated EXP lights,on the live at folsom field album but can anybody tell me what type of strings he used on live at luther college?And what do yall think about Elixirs?

I've got Elixir Polyweb's, and I love em. Polywebs are more coated, but if you want less.. get the nanoweb.

I've never tried D'addario so I can't say which is better

I like Elixir nanowebs .12

They last long and are easy to play. I have a cheap guitar (my first) so they make my guitar sound as good as can be. Plus they last a long time. The only drawback is their price.

D'addario EXP 17s. Try them. They will be the last strings you try. Trust me.
