midi = the devil

I have a few songs that I recorded onto my keyboard. I can save them to disk and then put them on the computer, but all the voices are converted to midi and it sounds like puke. do you guys know if there is any other way at all to get them onto the computer without crapifying them?

p.s. I hate midi.

Do they sound bad when the keyboard replays them? If they don't, you could have the keyboard play them back (assuming it can) and either set up a mic to record the output or do some sort of line out on the keyboard going into the line in on your PC.

:P :roll:

Well the piano sounds alright, but I did one song, for example, with different pads going on and some percussion. The pads all come out as the same voice, and the percussion comes through as a piano, which really screws it up. but thanks bedurndurn I don't know why I didn't even think of that.
